Enjoy the Game!

Tailgating and picnicking are encouraged at Lancaster Polo, so bring along your favorite food and beverages and join in the fun.
A blanket or lawn chairs are also recommended.
Parking
Park anywhere perpendicular to the sides of the field, except where white nameplates are affixed to the sideboards— spaces with white nameplates are reserved for Club Patrons. Please do not park closer to the field than the tree line—balls and horses often cross the sideboards during play. Parking is also available in the large field behind the announcer's booth.
Do not park at either end of the field or by the fence. Please note that balls can hit cars along the sidelines! If you do not want to take the chance, please park in the field. Lancaster Polo will not be responsible for damage to vehicles.
Divot "Stomping"
An age-old polo tradition is the stomping (replacing) of divots—this preserves the field and enhances safety for players and horses. Even the Queen of England stomps divots when attending a match.
Between each chukker (game period) we thank you for stomping divots—but be careful what you stomp!

Food
The concession stand adjacent to the Chukker Club offers sandwiches, drinks and snacks.
You are also welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy field-side.
Safety for All!
No spectator should be on any part of the playing field during the play of a match. Balls and horses move with speed and do cross the sideboards during play.
Please keep an eye on your children and the field play at all times.
Keep chairs and blankets no closer to the field than the tree line. You're welcome to bring your child to the paddock before or after the game or at half time to visit the players and horses (please approach a groom or player as to which horses are best to approach).
Pets
All pets must be leashed for everyone’s safety and comfort. We encourage you to leave excitable pets at home.
Those attending Lancaster Polo Association events do so at their own risk.
Please note that the club assumes no responsibility for physical injury, personal property damage or theft.
